Description: Orange brown bottom, with dark spots. Anterior wing with dark suffusion in the apical zone and white spots. Colorful inferior side, reminding a map. It has four dark ocelli in the posterior wing. It can reach up to 55-70 mm span. The adult is seen between March and October.

Habitat: Cosmopolitan.
