Description: The caterpillar feeds on blackthorn (Prunus spinosa), peach (Prunus persica) and European pear (Pyrus communis). The chrysalis is light brown and attaches in the trees from which the caterpillar feeds itself. The adult reaches up to 55-80 mm span, and the female is bigger than the male. It is possible to find the adults from February to December.

Habitat: Orchards.
