Description: Endemic species from the Iberian Peninsula. Evergreen and upright bush, with alate branches. The leaves are reduced to hard phyllode, frequently bi- or trident. The inflorescences are terminal and axillary fascicles, constituted by 3 to 6 yellow flowers, with short and mediocre peduncles. The fruit is an oblong-linear pod, with 2 to 5 seeds.

Habitat: Bushes, sub-bushes of pine woods and cork oak groves
