Scarlet dragonfly | Crocothemis erythraea

Description: The adult presents a length of 36-45 mm, the body is light red and robust, and the eyes are red with a blue inferior part. The female and young ones are sand colored (sometimes golden). The females can darken with maturation and, in rare cases, present a red color. Between April and November, it is possible to observe it in its habitat.

Habitat: Streams with little stream.
