Description: This species is protected by law (Habitats Directive). The adult presents a length of 47-54 mm and the body is dark green, metallic and with small yellow longitudinal spots. It has a small white callosity in the superior part of the last segment. Between April and August, i tis usual to observe this species flying.

Habitat: Rivers and streams with little stream, located in the edge of woodlands.

Where to find in the Arouca Geopark: Drave Stream, Telhe Stream, Freita’s plateau streams, Paiva River, Paivô River.
