Climbing

Man has always tried to overcome the challenges of heights and gravity. Climbing combines the two challenges, in an attempt to climb a rocky and irregular wall, based on proper technics and equipment. The three perfect zones to practice this sport are located in the Freita Mountain plateau: Merujal [Senhora da Laje with five routes of initiation, between 8 and 10 meters and equipped with tops and the campsite with five routes, between 6 and 12 meters] and Albergaria da Serra [Cabaços de Cima with five routes, between 11 and 12 meters, and equipped with tops and platelets and Cabaços de Baixo with 10 routes, between 11 and 12 meters, and equipped with tops and platelets].
